Anna’s and Honey

If the little Anna’s Hummingbird can find a reliable source of food he will stay year round. Although slightly larger than the aggressive little Rufous Hummingbird they are more timid and will allow the Rufous to take over the feeder during the summer months and go searching for other food sources, which includes honeysuckle. But, once the Rufous has left in the fall, he is back again and will stay at the feeder all winter.
